Caso Dom Osório: Padre, Guarda e Jardineiro Ficam em Prisão Preventiva Enquanto Investigações AvançamAs investigações sobre o assassinato de Dom Osório Citora Afonso, Bispo da Diocese de Quelimane e Administrador Apostólico da Beira, entraram numa nova fase após o Tribunal Judicial da Província da Zambézia determinar a prisão preventiva de três indivíduos apontados como suspeitos no processo.
Entre os detidos encontra-se um sacerdote da Igreja Católica, além de um guarda e um jardineiro ligados à residência episcopal onde o crime ocorreu.
A decisão foi tomada após um longo interrogatório realizado perante um juiz de instrução criminal, numa sessão que decorreu sob forte atenção pública e mediática.
Segundo informações avançadas pela STV, o Serviço Nacional de Investigação Criminal (SERNIC) confirmou que Dom Osório foi morto com recurso a uma arma de fogo do tipo AK-M, um dado que reforça a tese de homicídio qualificado e aumenta a complexidade das investigações.
As autoridades revelaram igualmente que já foram realizados exames médico-legais e periciais balísticos. Os especialistas analisaram o projéctil retirado do corpo da vítima e o invólucro encontrado no local do crime.
Paralelamente, decorrem testes de ADN e outras análises laboratoriais destinadas a identificar vestígios biológicos que possam ajudar a esclarecer os acontecimentos.
