O Presidente da República, Daniel Chapo, nomeou José Inácio Ramos Santos para o cargo de Procurador-Geral Adjunto da República, segundo um comunicado divulgado pela Presidência da República. A nomeação foi formalizada na segunda-feira.
De acordo com a nota oficial, a decisão visa assegurar a continuidade, a eficiência e o reforço da actuação do Ministério Público, num momento em que o sistema de justiça enfrenta desafios ligados ao fortalecimento do Estado de Direito e à consolidação institucional.
A Presidência não adiantou detalhes adicionais sobre o perfil profissional do nomeado ou sobre a data da tomada de posse, mas sublinha que a escolha se enquadra no quadro das competências constitucionais do Chefe do Estado.
Promulgação de diploma sobre o regime dos seguros
Ainda no mesmo dia, o Presidente da República promulgou a Lei de Autorização Legislativa relativa ao Regime Jurídico dos Seguros, diploma aprovado pela Assembleia da República em 6 de Novembro de 2025.
A promulgação da lei permite ao Governo avançar com a regulamentação do sector segurador, considerado estratégico para o desenvolvimento económico e para o reforço da protecção financeira de cidadãos e empresas.
Com estas decisões, a Presidência da República dá seguimento a medidas de natureza institucional e legislativa, enquadradas na agenda governativa para o fortalecimento da justiça e da economia nacional.
