Chibuto – A FRELIMO enfrenta um novo momento de consternação com o falecimento de Felipe Chavisse, Primeiro Secretário do partido em Chibuto, vítima de um acidente de viação ocorrido na noite de segunda-feira, 12 de janeiro. A notícia foi confirmada pelo Secretariado do Comité Distrital de Chibuto, que expressou profundo pesar pelo acontecimento.
Felipe Chavisse tinha uma carreira marcada pelo compromisso com a comunidade e pelo fortalecimento das estruturas do partido na região. O seu trabalho contribuiu significativamente para o desenvolvimento local e para a implementação das políticas da FRELIMO no distrito.
O falecimento de Chavisse ocorre apenas uma semana depois da morte do Primeiro Secretário do partido no distrito de Maçaroca, província do Niassa, vítima de doença, tornando este o segundo óbito de um dirigente distrital da FRELIMO registado em janeiro, o que aumenta o clima de luto e preocupação dentro da formação política.
O Secretariado do Comité Distrital de Chibuto apresentou as condolências à família, amigos e colegas de trabalho, e informou que o programa das exéquias fúnebres será oportunamente divulgado. Fontes locais indicam que dirigentes provinciais e nacionais devem acompanhar o velório e prestar homenagem ao dirigente.
