O Millennium bim anunciou que, em cumprimento do Banco de Moçambique (Aviso n.º 9/GBM/2025), publicado a 9 de Dezembro de 2025, os pagamentos no exterior realizados com cartões bancários passam a obedecer a um limite anual de 6.000.000,00 MT (seis milhões de meticais). Esta medida reflete o compromisso do banco com segurança, transparência e confiança nas operações internacionais de seus clientes.
Como funciona o novo limite
O limite anual de 6.000.000 MT aplica-se a todas as transações realizadas fora de Moçambique, incluindo:
- Pagamentos internacionais com cartões Millennium bim;
- Levantamentos em numerário realizados fora do país;
- Compras em plataformas de ecommerce internacional;
É importante destacar que o limite considera a soma total de todos os cartões emitidos em Moçambique e titulados pela mesma pessoa, incluindo aqueles mantidos em diferentes bancos. Ou seja, todas as transações internacionais são contabilizadas conjuntamente, garantindo conformidade com a regulamentação do Banco de Moçambique.
Solicitação de limite adicional
Clientes que necessitem realizar operações acima do limite anual podem solicitar junto do Millennium bim um aumento temporário ou permanente, sujeito à análise e aprovação pelo banco. Esta funcionalidade garante que operações de maior valor ou urgência possam ser realizadas com segurança e dentro da regulamentação vigente.
